Eleanor McDowall

Director in Falling Tree Productions and founder of Radio Atlas

Eleanor McDowall is a director at Falling Tree productions, a documentary filmmaker and producer of the BBC Radio 4 series Short Cuts, which won the Gold Award for Best Radio Podcast at the British Podcast Awards in 2017 and 2018. In her spare time, she runs Radio Atlas - an English-language house offering audio subtitles from around the world - and the ambient podcast Field Recordings.
Her documentaries have won, among others, the Europa Prize, The Whicker Audio Documentary Recognition Award, a Third Coast International Audio Festival Award and an Amnesty Media Award.
